What Other People Say…

Thanks so much for all your help, I’ve really enjoyed it, I love how I can almost waive the responsibility of making sure I’m doing the right thing and trust you to keep me on the right track.
— Dave Gaskell, Ironman Athlete
With the support, encouragement and guidance Matt has given over the past year my 5k, 10k, half marathon and marathon times have all improved. And I have remained injury free too. I would encourage anyone to seek Matt for guidance.
— Alex Connell, Ultra Runner
I absolutely loved having Matt as my coach. He always listened and was willing to work with me on an individual. Lots of coaches claim to do this, but Matt really did take it to another level. He was willing to share ideas, try things out and learn together. I wanted to work more around my menstrual cycle and he was willing to adapt, learn too and not just give me generic training plans and sessions. I didn’t get injured at all during my time with Matt, because there was a huge focus on building properly, consistently and keeping things fun. I would have no hesitation in recommending Matt to anyone, regardless of age, gender or experience. He’s clued up on female anatomy too and there are no awkward conversations with Matt - he has an impressive grasp on periods and peri-menopause and beyond. Yet there’s a wonderful attention to detail and thoroughness to. This coach is going places.
— Helen Murray, Age-Group Triathlete
Matt is a fantastic coach with kids. He understands the sport intimately and importantly how young boys and girls can learn and enjoy it. He has played a huge part in building my sons’ ability and love of football, always striking the perfect balance between instruction, encouragement and fun.
